The little town of West Dover is located in southern Vermont, along highway 100, at the foothill of the Green Mountains.
The town is best known for its winter activities in nearby Mount Snow Ski Resort and Haystack Ski Area. Mount Snow offers a vertical drop of 1,700 feet, 19 lifts and more than 700 acres of skiing and snowboarding terrain on five different mountains. Haystack ski area is located about 3 miles from Mount Snow and offers 42 trails and 4 lifts.
Mt. Snow Grand Summit Resort is situated on the slope side of Mount Snow and provides ski-in ski-out accommodation. Other hotels and motels are located in the village of West Dover.
